An FYI to those scouts who might be eligible to attend Philmont: age 14 and through the 8th grade: there is a council contingent going this summer--end of July/first of August. If you are interested, see me and we'll determine eligibility, etc. I would also note that this trip conflicts with our planned white water rafting outing for the same period.
For those scouts interested in Philmont for the summer of 2008, Troop 64 did not win the lottery, and consequently, we will not have a Philmont trip. The council will sponsor 3 contingents (36 total people), and anyone interested in going then can apply to go with the council contingent. (We're working on another high adventure trip for that summer.)
